Overview

What OTABot is, in plain language

OTABot records what your competitors charge on Booking.com and Airbnb, every day, for every future check-in date, and shows you where your own rate sits. This page is the short, complete version: what it watches, who uses it, what each plan costs, what it deliberately does not do, and who builds it.

  • No credit card required
  • Free plan includes 2 listings
  • Public listing URLs only

What it watches

Nightly rates, calendar availability and minimum-stay rules on the competitor listings you choose, across every check-in date in your look-ahead window.

What it shows

A colour-coded price heatmap, side-by-side comparison tables, positioning charts, trend history and an interactive competitor map.

What it tells you

Email alerts when a competitor drops price, undercuts you, sells out, or when the market as a whole moves on the dates you care about.

What you get

  • Competitor nightly rates and availability from Booking.com and Airbnb listings
  • Minimum-stay rules, which usually explain a rate that looks out of line
  • Your own listing shown next to the competitive set
  • Rate history, so a price move can be read as a trend rather than a snapshot
  • Email alerts for drops, undercuts, sell-outs and market shifts
  • A free plan that does not expire and needs no card

Who uses it

Independent and boutique hotels, guesthouses, hostels, vacation rental hosts and the property managers who run several of those at once. The common thread is a small team that prices by hand and has no revenue manager: OTABot replaces the tab-by-tab check of four competitor listings that otherwise happens on a Monday morning, or does not happen at all.

It is used across Europe, and three markets have their own pages with city-level detail where enough listings are tracked: Greece, Italy and Germany.

What it costs

Four plans, in euros, published in full. The figures below come from the same configuration the billing system uses, so they are what you would actually be charged. Billing every 6 months gives you one month free, yearly gives two.

The free plan is a plan, not a trial: it has no end date and no card. Upgrading buys more competitor properties, a longer look-ahead, rate history and more frequent scans.

What OTABot does not do

It does not change your prices. OTABot is monitoring and analysis, not a revenue management system and not a channel manager: it tells you that the hotel across the street has dropped its rate for the first week of August, and leaves the decision and the rate change to you.

It does not need extranet access, because it reads the same public listing pages a traveller sees. It does not cover every channel either: Booking.com and Airbnb are what it scans, plus whatever arrives through a connected partner channel manager.

Who builds it

OTABot is built by Flarmio, a software company based in London whose products are mostly in hospitality and tourism: Roomismo for property management, Quickord for digital ordering, Ridebly for transport. OTABot rate data is available inside Roomismo as an add-on, which is why the two products are often mentioned in the same sentence.

Frequently asked questions

What is OTABot?+

OTABot is a competitor rate intelligence tool for hotels and short-term rentals. You give it the public Booking.com or Airbnb listing URLs of the properties you compete with, and it records their nightly rates, availability and minimum-stay rules for every future check-in date, then shows the result as a price heatmap, comparison tables, positioning charts, trend history and email alerts.

How much does OTABot cost?+

OTABot has four plans. Free is €0 for 2 competitor properties. Essential is €29.99 per month for 5, Growth is €59.99 per month for 10, and Business is €99.99 per month for 15. Billing every 6 months gives one month free and yearly billing gives two, so Growth is €49.99 per month on a yearly plan. Prices are in euros.

Is there a free plan?+

Yes, and it does not expire. The free plan tracks 2 competitor properties with weekly scans, a 1 month look-ahead, a rate calendar, a basic heatmap and email alerts, with no credit card required.

Which channels does OTABot monitor?+

Booking.com and Airbnb. Each competitor you add is one Booking.com or Airbnb property listing. OTABot also receives data through partner channel manager integrations where a partner is connected.

Do I need extranet or host-account access?+

No. OTABot reads public listing data, the same rates and availability any traveller searching those dates can see. There is no Booking.com extranet login, no Airbnb host account and no channel manager integration required to start.

Does OTABot change my prices for me?+

No. OTABot is a monitoring and analysis tool, not a revenue management system and not a channel manager. It tells you where your rate sits against the market and alerts you when that changes; the pricing decision and the rate change stay with you, in whatever system you already use to publish rates.

How far ahead can OTABot see?+

The look-ahead window depends on the plan: 1 month on Free, 3 months on Essential, and 6 months on Growth and Business. Rate history goes back 7 days on Essential, 30 on Growth and 90 on Business.

Who builds OTABot?+

Flarmio, a software company based in London, which also builds Roomismo (property management for hotels and holiday rentals), Quickord (digital ordering), Ridebly (transport and mobility) and others. OTABot rate data is available inside Roomismo as an add-on, which is why the two are often mentioned together.
